Volunteer Briefing Days

Gap Year South Africa provide pre-departure information days where prospective volunteers and their parents can come and meet us, learn more about our projects and meet past volunteers. We provide a session on Gap Year Safety in South Africa, before you go and whilst on project. We endeavour to get a past volunteer to provide a short talk about their experiences in South Africa as well. This is also a great opportunity to meet fellow volunteers on future projects.

The format of the day is presentations in the morning on Gap Year South Africa, Safe Travel and past volunteer experiences, followed by a buffet lunch around 1pm with an informal Q+A session with staff and past volunteers.

Cost

The cost to attend an information day is £15. This covers the function room hire and a buffet lunch for you and you're parents. You can post a cheque or pay by credit card by clicking here

All the events are open to the public and there is no need to book.
